The Torcbrain Cordless Valve Actuator performed very well and is a viable solution for us, having a large number of valves that change position infrequently so there is a reluctance to spend capital on the valve actuators. But manually operating the valves is also a burden on our operations staff. The Cordless Valve Actuator appears to be a great solution.

We have 60 Valves that are required to be operated. Each valve requires 200 rotations (from close to open), so the tool is there to decrease the amount of physical work. In addition, the specialised valves require the correct amount of torque so these would not be damaged during the operation. The Torcbrain Tool enables us to establish a control over applying the correct amount of torque without damaging the assets. Furthermore, the telescopic drive extension allows the valve operator to stay further from the potentially hazardous high wall edges of the tailings dam.
